SEO Cost
The cost of SEO will primarily depend on the popularity of the key word through which the website will be positioned.
The more popular the key word, the more companies position their website through this word and as a result it is more difficult to achieve high ranking and the positioning costs go up.
Undercutting prices
Very often poor SEO is the result of undercutting Search Engine Optimisation prices by inexperienced website positioners, who want to gain a client at any cost.
It is after 2-3 months of SEO that it turns out that the agreed budget is too low to catch up with the competitors. Undercutting prices may be an effective way to gain a client but usually ends up in the termination of the contract and the waste of several months.
Overpricing
An inexperienced SEO Consultant unconsciously (or consciously) tricks the client into positioning the website through unpopular key words which do not bring the expected results, while the agreed fee would allow the selection of more popular key words. The result is predictable – after a few months the client gives up and switches to another SEO company or, being disappointed, gives up SEO altogether – which means giving up the most effective form of advertising.
Overpricing of a given key word causes “raising the status” of this word and after it temporarily reaches a high ranking, the client learns that some words don’t generate business in proportion to the prices.
